Job summary

Eurus Technologies in Islamabad is seeking a SQA Engineer with automated and manual testing skills to join our expanding team. This role involves ensuring all releases, hotfixes, and patches are error-free and deliver value to our customers.

The position requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Katalon Studio, plus API testing with Postman/SoapUI and performance testing with JMeter/Locust. Agile/Scrum familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of automated and manual testing experience.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon Studio or Spectron.
• API testing with Postman/SoapUI.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, load and performance testing.
• Experience with SaaS products and Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Scripting in Python/JavaScript/Java; familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Jira, TestRail or Asana for test management.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design docs to provide feedback.
• Execute all levels of testing: system, integration and regression.
• Create test plans and detailed test cases.
• Plan, prioritize and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and run automation scripts using open source tools.
• Log, track and verify defects; perform regression when fixes are deployed.
• Apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Track QA metrics and stay updated on new testing tools and strategies.

Description

We're looking for a SQA Engineer with both Automated and Manual testing skills, to join our rapidly expanding team. Quality Assurance at Eurus Technologies is the gatekeeper of excellent product delivery, ensuring all product releases, hotfixes, and patches are error free, of top quality, and deliver value to our customers.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in Automated plus Manual testing.
• Must have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Katalon Studio / Spectron.
• Experience in testing Web APIs using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Good knowledge of automation testing, load testing and performance testing.
• Experience in testing Technical Products.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust - including designing load test scenarios, analyzing throughput/latency/error-rate metrics, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Good technical writing skills (Use Case, Test Case, Traceability Matrix, GUI Document).
• Experience with various commercially available tools, such as Testrail / Jira / Asana.
• Hands on experience of developing test cases, plans, strategies.
• Excellent logical and analytical skills, with a strong desire to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Scripting in common computer languages, such as Python / Javascript / Java.
• Experience with AWS / Azure services is a plus.
• Experience with SaaS based products is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer Science.

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression, etc)
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
