About the Role:

We are hiring Senior/Principal Automation Engineers - SQA, where you'll drive innovation in software testing by developing, maintaining, and executing cutting-edge automation scripts, leveraging BDD frameworks and ensuring seamless integration across diverse platforms.

Responsibilities:

• To work on BDD model.
• Develop and review feature files in gherkin and automation them.
• Develops automated test scripts for new features of n-1 sprint.
• Develop automated scripts of all regression flows.
• Maintain the whole automation script.
• Report and update defects, verify defect fixes, using the JIRA defect tracking tool.
• Must be able to work as manual tester in certain circumstances.
• Execute automated flows on different server like local QA, UAT, PROD.

Requirements:

• Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Automation Life Cycle.
• Strong hands-on experience of 3-6 years in developing software tests for functional and regression testing, including automated and ad-hoc testing elements.
• Must have strong grip on different automation frameworks(Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Must have strong grip of BDD and Cucumber/gherkin.
• Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization.
• Good skills in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
• Engage with the development team to resolve identified defects.
• Familiarity with a programming language preferably in Java, groovy.
• Background working with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience.
