Job summary

Bitandbytes in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a Senior SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. You will contribute to test planning, execute manual, API, and regression testing, and document defects throughout the lifecycle.

Collaborating with developers and PMs, you will validate data with SQL, perform API tests with Postman, and support test automation initiatives to improve QA processes and ensure stable releases.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Experience with Jira or similar project/bug tracking tools.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools/frameworks is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities
