Job summary

TECHBITS SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced Sr. SQA Engineer to own testing processes, ensure product quality at scale, and mentor junior QA team members.

The role requires strong manual and automation testing expertise, a deep understanding of SDLC/STLC, and the ability to drive quality across multiple projects. You will design and execute test strategies, lead testing efforts, and collaborate with developers and product owners to prevent defects and improve QA efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing & Automation Testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Experience with test planning, test case design, and defect management
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks
• Knowledge of API testing and backend validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release cycles
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases

This role requires strong expertise in manual and automation testing, a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, and the ability to drive quality across multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities

Design, review, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing

Lead manual and automation testing efforts

Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue-tracking tools

Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders

Review requirements and provide early QA feedback to prevent defects

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level SQA engineers

Ensure quality standards are met before production releases

Continuously improve QA processes and testing efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

• Automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• API testing tools like Postman
• Bug tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or similar
• Version control systems (Git-based workflows)
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
