Job summary

Auriga Solutions in Karachi is seeking a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure software quality across the development lifecycle. You will review requirements and design docs, craft test plans and cases, and coordinate testing activities.

You will work with developers and product managers, apply white box and black box testing, and leverage automated and performance testing where appropriate. Morning shift in Karachi, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
• Experience: Proven experience in writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
• Testing Methodologies: White box and black box testing techniques.
• Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Automation: Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Performance: Performance testing experience is advantageous.

Your Role:

As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our development lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and insightful feedback. Your expertise will shine as you create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases, while estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. Identifying, recording, and thoroughly documenting bugs will be crucial, along with developing and applying testing processes that meet our clients’ needs. Collaboration is key; you’ll work closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and monitor debugging processes to ensure quality outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education:Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.

• Testing Methodologies: Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
