We are a growing tech company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Karachi, Pakistan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and identifying any bugs or issues. You must have prior experience in QA engineering and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities

As our QA Engineer, your responsibilities will include conducting both manual and automated testing of our software products, identifying and reporting any bugs or issues that arise during testing, and working closely with the development team to resolve these issues. You will also be responsible for creating test plans and test cases based on project specifications, executing these tests according to established procedures, and providing clear feedback on any defects found.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a QA engineer or in a similar quality assurance role. A strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies is also necessary. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Appium is preferred but not required. Additionally, knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python would be beneficial in this role. As this is a contract position, we require someone who can hit the ground running and adapt quickly to new projects.
