Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental needs is advantageous.
• Understanding of functional communication and child-centered approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized communication and intervention plans.
• Provide speech and language intervention based on individual needs and functional goals.
• Support the assessment and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) where appropriate.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide guidance and coaching to parents and caregivers.
• Monitor and document children’s progress and maintain relevant clinical records.
• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and collaborative planning.
• Review and adapt intervention strategies based on children’s progress and needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
• Relevant clinical experience is preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental needs will be an advantage.
• Understanding of functional communication and child-centered intervention approaches.
• Familiarity with AAC is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
