Job summary

DEWA Trust in Karachi is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. • Strong knowledge of speech, language, communication, articulation, fluency, voice, and developmental disorders.
• Ability to perform structured assessments and translate findings into measurable therapy goals.
• Competence in designing and delivering individualized and group intervention programs for children with special needs.
• Practical understanding of augmentative and alternative communication methods is an advantage.
• Clear clinical documentation, progress tracking, and report-writing skills.
• Effective communication and counseling skills for working with children, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Patient, empathetic, organized, and committed to child safeguarding and professional confidentiality.
• Ability to use play-based, child-centered, and evidence-informed therapy techniques.
