Job summary

• Professional certifications in Logistics / Supply Chain are an added advantage.
• Experience in managing both owned and outsourced fleets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and optimize logistics operations for primary and secondary distribution.
• Oversee company-owned and outsourced fleet operations, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization.
• Monitor KPIs: delivery timelines, cost per trip, fuel efficiency, service levels.
• Develop and manage transportation routes, load planning, and dispatch schedules.
• Manage relationships with transporters, vendors, and service providers with rate negotiations and SLAs.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, vehicle fitness, insurance, and fleet compliance.
• Control logistics and fleet-related costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with warehouse and retail teams to resolve delivery issues and escalations.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.

• Ensure timely preventive maintenance, vehicle fitness, insurance, and legal compliance of the fleet.
• Control logistics and fleet-related costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Manage fleet safety, driver discipline, training coordination, and incident management.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and retail teams to resolve delivery issues and operational escalations.
• Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards for management review and informed decision-making.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration Professional certifications in Logistics / Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience
