Job summary

Descon Engineering Limited is seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage day-to-day administration, governance, and security of the Microsoft 365 environment from the Lahore office. You will handle user lifecycle, licensing, reporting, and compliance tasks while ensuring service availability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Entra ID, Purview, Teams, SharePoint Online, and PowerShell scripting, along with strong Excel documentation and cross-team collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of Microsoft 365 Administration experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Microsoft certifications will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, offboard users, license management and access reviews.
• Administer licenses and maintain license inventory.
• Provide high-level administration for Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, Purview, Security, Power Platform, SharePoint Online.
• Assist with authentication, MFA enrollment, password resets.
• Manage mailboxes, shared mailboxes and email flow.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Prepare technical documentation and management reports.
• Monitor service health and security alerts; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and Microsoft support.
