Job summary

Confidential Company in Islamabad is seeking an Exchange & Cloud Architect to manage a hybrid messaging environment (Exchange Server 2019 on-premises and Microsoft 365 Online) and to lead migration projects to Office 365. You will also support broader cloud, server, virtualization, security, and backup operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure, and cloud tech, with hands-on Exchange 2019 administration and migration expertise, plus Azure

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Server 2019 administration and Exchange Hybrid deployments.
• Proven experience leading Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration.
• Lead planning and execution of Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects, including mailbox migration and cutover.
• Manage identity and directory services including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux server environments, including Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Implement and maintain email security, WAF, SSL/TLS, and related security controls.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for messaging and infrastructure systems.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues across messaging and cloud environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and infrastructure changes.
• Support broader cloud initiatives across Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Role Summary:

Windows / Hybrid Infrastructure

• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801)

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure, and security certifications will be considered an added advantage
