Job summary

Neurolux International is seeking a Special Education Expert to join our multidisciplinary team in Rawalpindi on a full-time, on-site basis. You will support autistic children and those with ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental delays through individualized education plans and evidence-based teaching.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Special Education (or related fields) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong IEP and documentation skills, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or Bachelor’s in Special Education, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or ABA (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with autistic children and ADHD.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and inclusive education practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings with speech and occupational therapists is an advantage.
• ABA knowledge and SEN/ ASD certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct educational and developmental screenings to identify learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
• Coordinate with psychologists, speech and occupational therapists, and paediatricians for joined-up care.
• Monitor academic, behavioural, and social progress of children.
• Guide teachers and therapists on accommodations and intervention strategies.
• Conduct parent meetings and provide home-based recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Help develop inclusive education programmes and transition plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and staff training.

Join our multidisciplinary team as a Special Education Expert, supporting autistic children and children with ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental delays through individualised education plans and inclusive, evidence-based teaching.

What we're looking for

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA preferred), from an HEC-recognised institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with autistic children and children with ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioural challenges
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, inclusive education practices, classroom accommodations, and behaviour-management strategies
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings and collaborating with speech and occupational therapists is an advantage
• Knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions; additional SEN or ASD certifications and trainings are a plus
