The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and compliance requirements. The role works closely with clients, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery partners to architect scalable cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions while driving digital transformation, automation, AI/ML adoption, and infrastructure modernization.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments based on client business, technical, and compliance requirements.
- Lead automation initiatives by designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and configuration management solutions.
- Architect AI/ML-enabled solutions, including agentic systems, Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, and MLOps frameworks.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy options and recommend scalable, cost-effective technology solutions.
- Define cloud architecture strategies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift, and private cloud environments.
- Assess, modernize, and optimize Data Center infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP).
- Contribute hands-on to application development through API design, microservices architecture, system integrations, scripting, and automation tooling.
- Embed security best practices by incorporating threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure SDLC, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS into solution designs.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, solution proposals, and client presentations to support project delivery and pre-sales activities.
- Lead technical discovery workshops, solution scoping sessions, and architecture reviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and delivery best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, security, product, and project management to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related technical architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in designing cloud, hybrid, and on-premises enterprise architectures.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift, or private cloud environments.
- Experience designing automation solutions using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), and configuration management tools.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, LLM integrations, MLOps, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Center technologies including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, integration architectures, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure SDLC, threat modeling, and industry compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven client-facing experience including solution scoping, proposal writing, technical presentations, and discovery workshops.
- Professional certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, CKA/CKAD, PMP, ITIL, CISSP, Security+, or NVIDIA Professional Certification are preferred.
