Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and oversee end-to-end technical solutions for our retail e-commerce platform. This role bridges business needs with technology capabilities, delivering scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for e-commerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards
• Create architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide development and implementation
• Define technology stack, tools, and frameworks, and develop a scalable technology roadmap
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, infrastructure, and security teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Design integration strategies for third-party systems (payment gateways, logistics, CRM, ERP)
• Architect systems for high availability, scalability, and resilience, particularly during peak traffic
• Embed security and compliance into architecture designs from inception
• Evaluate and recommend technologies balancing cost, performance, and maintainability
• Lead architecture review boards, workshops, and governance processes

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect Professional) preferred
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in system design and enterprise architecture
• At least 3+ years as a Solution Architect for large-scale, distributed systems
• Proven experience in retail, e-commerce, or B2C digital platforms
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems
• Strong background in enterprise integration, data architecture, and security frameworks
