Job description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Solutions Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise-scale Data, BI, Big Data, and AI solutions. The role will be responsible for defining architecture strategies, designing scalable and secure data platforms, developing solution roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Data, BI, Big Data, and AI solutions, from data sourcing through provisioning.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and solution models.
• Define and maintain the Data Architecture roadmap, including transition from current-state to target-state architecture.
• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing solutions covering applications, infrastructure, data, and integration.
• Architect Enterprise Data Hubs, Data Warehouses, Hadoop/Big Data platforms, BI, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, conduct assessments, identify risks, and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Collaborate with local and international/cross-border teams to ensure adherence to architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure scalability, reliability, availability, and performance.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Define strategies for data security, access control, data retention, deletion, and archiving.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the organization's Data, BI, and AI ecosystem.
• Lead and mentor team members, assign responsibilities, and support their professional development.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholders while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 15–18 years of overall IT experience, with the majority of experience in Data Architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Hub design.
• Proven experience with Big Data technologies and platforms, including Hadoop and related ecosystem technologies.
• Strong experience designing Data Warehouses, BI Reporting, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Expertise in data modeling, database architecture, database design, and data administration.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT, and data integration tools.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases and complex data environments.
• Knowledge of data mining, data segmentation, and relational database design.
• Experience defining and implementing data retention, archival, and deletion strategies.
• Strong understanding of data security, governance, access controls, and compliance for Data/BI/AI platforms.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing multiple projects/workstreams.
• TOGAF or relevant architecture certification is preferred.
