About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially aware Solution Architect to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the technical anchor for our most complex and strategic client engagements. You will bridge the gap between business challenges and cutting-edge technology, designing end-to-end solutions that are scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized.
You will work closely with enterprise clients, internal delivery teams, and senior leadership to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical blueprints. Your expertise will guide proposals, RFPs, and delivery roadmaps, ensuring seamless transition from sale to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Strategy
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design for large-scale IT infrastructure, cloud migration, and digital transformation projects.
- Develop comprehensive solution blueprints covering architecture, integration patterns, data flow, security, and operational models.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors to meet client objectives while aligning with industry best practices.
Pre-Sales & Business Development
- Partner with the Sales and Account teams to understand client pain points and formulate compelling value propositions.
- Own the technical response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs), including effort estimation, resource planning, and risk assessment.
- Deliver articulate and engaging technical presentations and architecture demonstrations to C-level stakeholders.
Delivery & Governance
- Act as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivered solutions adhere to the architectural vision.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering leads to mitigate technical risks and resolve critical design conflicts.
- Define technical governance frameworks, ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability, and disaster recovery).
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client enterprise architects and IT leadership.
- Translate complex technical jargon into clear, business-aligned language for non-technical stakeholders.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a Solutions Architecture or Enterprise Architecture role within an IT services or systems integration environment.
Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following domains:
- Cloud Computing: (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – certified at Professional/Specialty level preferred.
- Hybrid Infrastructure: Virtualization (VMware), Storage (SAN/NAS), and HCI.
- Application Modernization: Microservices, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Networking & Security: SD-WAN, Zero Trust Architecture, Firewalls, and Identity Management (IAM).
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration patterns (APIs, ESB, Kafka, MuleSoft/IBM ACE).
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (ITIL v4) and Managed Services operating models.
Soft Skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex architectures to executive audiences.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working in international market is a strong plus.
