Job description

Global Shisha Tobacco's website is its sales floor: every lead arrives through a quote popup or a WhatsApp link on one of its pages. The Software Engineer owns that site and the tools behind it. The public site is a fast static build with product pages, country guides, a photo and video gallery and a specification builder that pre-fills the quote form.

The next stage is internal. Quote requests currently land in an inbox, and the sales desk needs them in a tracker that shows which buyer is waiting on which quotation. You will build that, connect it to the form, and keep the public pages quick on a phone in Riyadh as well as a desktop in Rotterdam.

Salary: PKR 90,000 – 120,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the website: product pages, country guides, gallery and quote popup
• Build an enquiry tracker so each quote request has an owner, a status and a next step
• Connect the quote form and WhatsApp entry points to the CRM
• Keep pages fast and correctly marked up with structured data, sitemaps and image handling
• Fix what the sales and content teams report and release small improvements often

Requirements

• Solid JavaScript and HTML/CSS, with Python or TypeScript for build scripts and tooling
• Experience shipping and maintaining a production website
• Working knowledge of a SQL database and simple APIs
• Attention to page speed and mobile behaviour
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• Experience building a CRM, ticketing or lead tracker
• Familiarity with static site generators and Linux hosting
• Sensible use of AI coding tools, with your own review of the output

Benefits

• Structured training in the company's products, tools and markets
• International customer exposure in English
• Office in E-11 Islamabad with the team on site
• Consideration for advancement as the team grows
