Job description

FCV Tobacco's website is the first thing a prospective buyer checks, and for a commodity supplier it has to be exact: grade pages, country pages, the quote request flow and the technical details of what the company sells. The Software Engineer owns that site and the small internal systems around it.

The work is a mix of public pages and back-office tools. You keep the product catalogue and country pages fast and correctly structured for search, maintain the request-a-quote form and connect it to the CRM, and build tools the team lacks, such as an enquiry tracker, a sample log and a shipment status board. Because the audience is commercial buyers rather than the general public, reliability and correctness matter more than visual novelty.

Salary: PKR 90,000 – 120,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend fcvtobacco.com: the product catalogue, grade pages and country pages
• Improve the request-a-quote flow and connect submissions to the CRM without losing a single enquiry
• Build internal tools for enquiry tracking, sample logs and shipment status
• Keep pages fast and structured so search engines and AI assistants read grades and specifications correctly
• Document each tool so sales and operations staff can use it without help

Requirements

• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript with a portfolio, GitHub or live project
• Understanding of forms, APIs and relational databases
• Care about accuracy: a wrong figure on a grade page is a real error
• Clear written English for tickets and documentation
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• React or Next.js experience in production
• Experience integrating a CRM with a website
• Basic technical SEO and structured data

Benefits

• Structured training in the company's products, tools and markets
• International customer exposure in English
• Office in E-11 Islamabad with the team on site
• Consideration for advancement as the team grows
