Job summary

Global Shisha Tobacco in Islamabad is seeking a diligent Content Writer to craft and update product, wholesale and bulk supply pages according to our specifications. You will maintain country import guides and revise rules when excise, labeling or licensing changes, and write buyer guides on quotations, Incoterms, HS classification and payment terms.

Job description

A shisha tobacco importer usually reads several pages of a supplier's website before sending a message. At Global Shisha Tobacco those pages are the Content Writer's work: product and wholesale pages, buyer guides on quotations, shipping terms and customs classification, and import guides for more than twenty countries.

The country guides are the demanding part. Each one states how waterpipe tobacco is taxed, labelled and licensed in that market, with sources, and rules change. You track those changes, update the pages and say plainly when something could not be confirmed. The reader is a trade buyer, so the tone is factual and nothing is written for consumers.

Salary: PKR 40,000 - 50,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and update product, wholesale and bulk supply pages from the company's own specifications
• Maintain country import guides and revise them when excise, labelling or licensing rules change
• Write buyer guides on quotations, Incoterms, HS classification and payment terms
• Cite an official source for every regulatory statement and mark anything unconfirmed
• Keep titles, headings and internal links clear for search engines and AI assistants

Requirements

• Clear, exact English and the patience to rewrite until a rule is stated correctly
• Comfort reading official documents such as tax authority pages and regulations
• Care with figures, units and dates
• A working grasp of search-friendly page structure
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• Experience writing trade, export, legal or regulatory content
• Reading ability in Arabic, German, French or Turkish
• A portfolio that includes sourced, fact-checked articles
