Job summary

PARCO, a premier energy company, invites applications for Shift Engineer Utilities & ETP at Mid Country Refinery, Muzaffargarh. The role leads Field Operators and DCS Operators to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Utilities and ETP systems.

We seek a PEC-credentialed engineer with experience in DCS (Yokogawa CENTUM VP or Honeywell PKS), PTW knowledge, and strong problem-solving abilities. Join PARCO to contribute to safe refinery operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

PEC-recognized degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and safe work practices.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Basic proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise shift teams to operate Utilities and ETP safely and reliably.
Coordinate plant start-ups, shutdowns, and emergencies for operational continuity.
Ensure safe isolation and handover of equipment for maintenance and its recommissioning.
Oversee daily operations and preventive maintenance for reliability.
Monitor plant parameters and lab results; implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with service departments and other units to ensure equipment integrity.
