Job summary

PARCO - Pak-Arab Refinery Limited in Pakistan seeks a Process Engineer for Technical Services at Mid Country Refinery, Mahmood Kot. The role centers on performance monitoring of utilities, ETD, and process optimization to improve energy efficiency and plant reliability.

You will support Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, conduct technical studies, prepare reports, and participate in MOC, HAZOP, and SIL/LOPA reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing.

Responsibilities

Monitor performance of utilities and process units with respect to energy balances and efficiency.
Monitor equipment performance including compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, boilers and pumps.
Support energy conservation, debottlenecking, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Initiate MOC, participate in HAZOP & SIL-LOPA studies, and review design packages.
Provide day‑to‑day technical support to cross‑functional teams and prepare technical reports.
