Job summary

NorthBay - Pakistan is seeking an experienced Unity Developer to design, build and optimize mobile applications using Unity and C#. This full-time role covers Android and iOS, with a hybrid work model across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years of hands-on Unity development, strong debugging and performance optimization skills, and experience collaborating with designers, product managers and distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on Unity.
• Strong proficiency in Unity 3D and C#.
• Extensive mobile application development experience for Android and iOS.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture, lifecycle, and platform-specific considerations.
• Hands-on experience with performance optimization, profiling, memory management, and debugging in Unity.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, and third‑party libraries.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience with mobile build and deployment processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Unity and C#.
• Develop and optimize applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Implement application features, UI, animations, integrations, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, performance, and platform-specific issues.
• Optimize applications for mobile performance, memory usage, CPU/GPU utilization, and battery consumption.
• Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, libraries, analytics, and platform services.
• Manage mobile builds, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required.
