Role Description The Senior UK Payroll Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end UK payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery for multiple clients or internal stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include calculating wages, overtime, and statutory deductions, handling pension contributions, and ensuring compliance with UK payroll regulations. The specialist will manage payroll queries, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee records. The role also involves reviewing payroll reports, supporting audits, and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration, including end-to-end UK payroll management and employee data maintenance.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Payroll Processing and Payroll Services, ensuring accurate and timely payroll runs for diverse stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related UK statutory requirements, including statutory deductions and reporting.
• Candidates should possess experience managing Garnishments and other court-ordered or statutory deductions in line with UK regulations.
• Relevant experience in UK payroll within a finance or accounting environment, preferably in a senior or specialist role.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with payroll software and Excel.
• Ability to manage confidential information, prioritize multiple deadlines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Professional qualification or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is MUST; UK payroll certification is an advantage.
