Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a seasoned QA automation engineer to join our project teams in Islamabad. You will develop and enhance automation frameworks, review tests, and ensure manual and automated testing align with defined standards.

You will build automation scripts using Selenium, Java, TestNG, Jenkins and Maven for regression and performance testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help recruit testing talent while driving quality across the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar field
• 3-8 years of automation testing experience
• Experience in automation testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Java)
• Proficient in automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Xunit, SpecFlow, Pyunit, or in-house frameworks
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Provide expert opinion and guidance on business & quality parameters
• Develop test automation framework and enhance it based on project needs
• Review test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Ensure that manual and automation test execution follow defined standards
• Coordinate QA activities and support requirement analysis
• Develop automation scripts to cover user stories using Selenium, Java, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven for regression and performance testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Learn new things and share findings effectively
• Help organization in recruiting software testing talent
