Job summary

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is seeking a Deputy Manager - System Administrator to lead and secure enterprise IT infrastructure in Karachi. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization platforms to ensure availability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in system administration, hands-on experience with data center environments, storage, backup, DR, cybersecurity, and infrastructure automation using PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in System Administration with data center experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise data center environments and virtualization platforms.
• Secure, monitor, and optimize IT infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers.
• Handle server administration, patching, hardening, performance monitoring, and backups.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Oversee cybersecurity, incident response, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Work with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and storage solutions.
