Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in system administration, hands-on experience with data center environments, storage, backup, DR, cybersecurity, and infrastructure automation using PowerShell.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise data center environments and virtualization platforms.
• Secure, monitor, and optimize IT infrastructure including Windows/Linux servers.
• Handle server administration, patching, hardening, performance monitoring, and backups.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Oversee cybersecurity, incident response, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Work with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and storage solutions.

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for a \"Deputy Manager - System Administrator\" in their Information Technology department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in System Administration with strong hands-on expertise in managing enterprise data center environments and supporting virtualization and cloud infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking services, virtualization platforms, storage, and data center environments. The role includes server administration, patching, hardening, performance monitoring, backup and recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, infrastructure troubleshooting, and ensuring system availability and business continuity.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or Huawei HCI.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, server hardening, patching, and compliance.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing enterprise data center and virtualization environments.
• Knowledge of IT asset, software license, and vendor management.

Experience with high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
