Job summary

FiveRivers Technologies is seeking a proactive Support Engineer to troubleshoot issues, support clients, and ensure smooth system performance. The role focuses on data ingestion pipelines, data quality, and resolving data-related challenges for clients in Lahore.

Ideal candidates have software / data background, knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP workflows, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong communication to non technical stakeholders is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Experience supporting a SaaS app providing data management, extraction and analysis.
• Knowledge of supply chain workflows in 1–2 ERPs (SAP or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming tickets per defined SLAs.
• Resolve low-to-moderate complexity technical issues using defined tools and processes.
• Monitor and maintain data ingestion pipelines for quality after implementation.
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues, including missing tables and incorrect transforms.
• Maintain knowledge base and documentation for customers and internal teams.

Job description

FiveRivers Technologies is looking for a proactive and technically strong Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, supporting clients, and ensuring smooth system performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling all incomingtickets according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  
• Resolve low-to-moderate complexitytechnical issues using defined tools and processes, such as password resets andfunctional customer mapping changes.
  
• Continuously monitor and maintain the dataingestion pipelines, ensuring data quality (completeness, correctness, andfreshness) post-implementation.
  
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues,including missing/empty tables, incorrect transformations, and unexpected dataanomalies.
  
• Maintain the knowledge base anddocumentation to support both customers and internal team members.
  

Requirements

• Knowledgeof supply chain processes and a strong understanding of supply chain workflowsin 1-2 ERPs (SAP or Oracle)
• Experiencewith relational databases
• Experiencewith cloud data infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Monitordata pipeline errors and proactively resolve them
• Familiaritywith DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
• Bachelor’sin Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Previousexperience in a support, data engineering, or a related position involvingsupporting a SaaS app providing data management, extraction and analysis
• Ability tolearn systems and business processes quickly
• Ability toexplain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
