Job summary

Cedar Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Consultant to lead end-to-end design, consolidation, and optimization of mission-critical SQL Server environments. The role focuses on OLTP/OLAP strategies, schema unification, and high availability across SQL Server 2012–2022.

Consolidation, data migration, and security hardening are key responsibilities. Remote work from Lahore with a global, enterprise-grade data platform mindset; applicants should bring 10+ years of enterprise SQL Server

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise SQL Server DBA/architecture experience.
Experience leading consolidation projects and Always On AGs/WSFC across SQL Server 2012–2022.
Strong skills in migration, performance tuning, and security hardening.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, consolidation, and optimization of SQL Server environments.
Consolidate schemas, unify data models, and plan minimal-downtime migrations.
Design and implement OLTP tuning, indexing, and HA/DR strategies.
Develop OLAP/warehousing strategies including SSIS/SSAS pipelines.
Establish backup, recovery, security, and compliance routines.
