Job summary

CureMD Corporation in Lahore is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to ensure robust data operations, 24/7 availability, and seamless performance across SQL Server environments including Azure SQL. You’ll monitor health, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with developers to optimize deployments and capacity planning.

The role requires 3–5 years of DB admin experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL, plus expertise in Always On, backups, DR, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of database administration experience with SQL Server (2008–2022) and Azure SQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer databases across Microsoft SQL Server (2008–2022), including Azure SQL
• Manage and resolve complex database-related issues to ensure minimal downtime
• Monitor key system parameters to optimize performance and resource utilization
• Plan for data growth and execute capacity management strategies
• Design and maintain high availability environments using Always On
• Collaborate with development teams to improve database performance and deployments
• Evaluate, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting tools for on-prem and Azure SQL
