Leading Edge is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to manage SQL Server-based apps from a remote location in Islamabad. You will troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and collaborate with developers to improve overall app stability.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of SQL Server experience, strong SQL writing skills, and a CS/IT degree or relevant experience. Familiarity with Windows/Linux and networking basics is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of app support/SQL Server experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for SQL Server apps and resolve tickets.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and tune performance.
• Set up alerts and monitor uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with developers and PMs to improve app health.
• Maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist users and train on best practices.
