Job summary

vFairs is seeking a Software Architect to drive architectural vision and technical excellence across our engineering ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure, and performant systems, guiding cross-functional teams across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and DevOps disciplines.

Key responsibilities include defining end-to-end architectures, maintaining architectural standards, and leading architecture reviews and technology evaluations.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in architecture.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, CQRS, DDD, and event-driven patterns.
• Expertise with backend and frontend frameworks (Laravel, Node.js, .NET, Java; Vue.js/React/Angular).
• Proficiency in API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and caching (Redis).
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure design.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to explain complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architectures for complex software systems.
• Lead architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Shape long-term technical strategy and roadmap in partnership with leaders.
• Mentor engineers and review designs for architectural integrity.
• Guide teams to build resilient, observable, and secure systems.
• Review infrastructure blueprints including load balancing, caching, queues, data pipelines.
