Job summary

Veeam Software, a leader in data resilience and security, seeks an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and architect its core backend platform. You will work in a globally distributed agile team on a new SaaS platform underpinning enterprise applications for data analytics and AI security.

You will build scalable cloud services with Docker/Kubernetes, participate in architecture and design reviews, and ensure high quality through tests and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker).
• Experience building scalable cloud-based distributed systems.
• Proficiency in GoLang, Java, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and architect core backend platform components.
• Create architecture and design documents, specs, and test plans.
• Coordinate end-to-end development, deployment, and testing of new features.
• Write reliable, secure, and scalable code and perform code reviews.
• Monitor performance and address urgent issues; support customers.
