Job summary

Dealers Hub is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to own the QA framework across the platform. This hands-on role requires designing and implementing scalable automated testing and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will build test plans for ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs and SQL Server, collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis and drive quality metrics across releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of software QA with hands-on test automation experience.
• Proven experience establishing or significantly improving QA automation processes.
• Strong programming skills in C# within a .NET environment.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Knowledge of xUnit, NUnit or MSTest.
• Strong experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Good understanding of ASP.NET Core, SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Experience integrating automated tests with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the complete QA strategy, processes and testing standards for Dealers Hub.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
• Implement unit testing standards in collaboration with the development team.
• Develop automated functional, regression, integration, API and end-to-end tests.
• Implement automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality before deployment.
• Build comprehensive test plans, test cases and testing documentation.
• Test ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, SQL Server databases and third-party integrations.
• Investigate recurring software defects and collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis.
• Establish release testing procedures and quality gates before production deployment.
• Introduce bug tracking, defect prioritisation and quality reporting processes.
• Perform performance, load and reliability testing.
• Work closely with developers to improve code quality, testability and system stability.
• Continuously improve test coverage and reduce production defects.

Our platform includes vehicle inventory management, dealership websites, CRM functionality, third-party advertising integrations, AI-powered tools and business automation.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to take ownership of software quality and establish a complete QA framework across our platform.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can design, implement and manage quality assurance processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
