Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a highly analytical Senior Specialist, Performance (Courier Pricing) to join our regional logistics team and optimize rider payments across 16 markets. You will design incentive models, analyze financial impact, and translate data into actionable improvements that boost rider earnings, fleet satisfaction, and overall delivery performance.

With 3+ years in tech, logistics, or consulting and a STEM/quantitative degree, you will partner with Central Product and local market

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in high-growth tech, logistics, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
Experience in the gig economy, marketplace dynamics, or logistics is a strong plus.
University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or related quantitative field.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Looker to analyze data and build models.

Responsibilities

Define and optimize rider payment and incentive models across 16 markets, ensuring consistency with local adaptations and financial discipline.
Evaluate the financial impact and monitor cost-per-order trends to align incentives with profitability and rider supply.
Dive into large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improving rider payments and logistics operations.
Drive regional rollout of data science models and automation tools tailored to rider payments and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Central Product to translate business needs into product requests and ensure adoption of new features.
Engage with operations, finance, product, and local teams to implement scalable incentive structures across markets.
