Responsibilities

  • Record and process financial transactions with accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare financial reports including donor and management reports.
  • Maintain and update general ledger with timely entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing with required data.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget utilization.
  • Track expenses to align with approved budgets and funding guidelines.
  • Prepare variance analysis and highlight key financial insights.
  • Manage billing transactions including invoices and payments.
  • Record donor funds and grants.
  • Support grant audits with documentation.
  • Prepare documents for audits and ensure compliance.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard resources.
  • Monitor cash flow and disbursements.

Job Description
  • Record and process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including donor reports, management reports, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring timely financial entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling necessary financial data.
B. BUDGET & EXPENSE MANAGEMENT:
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget utilization across various healthcare programs.
  • Track expenses, ensuring they align with approved budgets and funding guidelines.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports and highlight key financial insights to the Assistant Manager, Finance.
  • To manage the financial transactions related to billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This includes generating and issuing internal invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining detailed financial records. Also address billing discrepancies, if any.
C. GRANT & FUND MANAGEMENT:
  • Ensure proper recording and tracking of donor funds and grants.
  • Assist in financial reporting for grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
  • Support grant audits by maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
D. AUDIT, COMPLIANCE & INTERNAL CONTROLS:
  • Prepare financial documents and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations, tax laws, and internal financial policies.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls to safeguard financial resources.
E. CASH FLOW & ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT:
  • Support cash flow monitoring and fund disbursement activities.
  • Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions to maintain accurate records.
F. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES (ACCORDING TO FUNCTIONS):
  • Coordinate with finance teams across different locations to ensure consistency in financial processes.
  • Support finance staff in resolving accounting and financial queries.
  • Assist in training junior finance team members on financial procedures and compliance.
  • Other responsibilities according to the assigned finance function under his/her control.
