Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a qualified Banking Operations professional to manage investigation query processing within CPC team. You will handle cross-border payments inquiries, including returns and SOF, ensuring timely responses per SLA and coordinating with operations, business lines and customer service desks to close cases.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking operations, strong knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX messages, Nostro/Vostro accounts, and compliance awareness.

Qualifications

Graduate with 3-5 years of diversified experience in banking operations.
Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT types MT199, MT195, MT196, MT192, MT999, MT103, MT202 and MT202COV.
Knowledge of MX messages pacs.008, pacs.009 and pacs.009 COV.
Knowledge of Nostro and Vostro accounts.
Awareness of Compliance/AML/Regulatory Requirements.
Conversant with in-house operating systems.

Responsibilities

Process investigation query messages (return of funds, amended payments, recalls, OFAC/FATF related) per SLA.
Coordinate with operations, business lines and customer service to close cases.
Analyze recurrent queries and suggest process improvements to reduce repeats.
Ensure queries are processed in accordance with SOPs.
Seek guidance from seniors when in doubt to ensure accurate processing.
