National Development Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. [Official] seeks an experienced hydraulic engineer to lead the development and calibration of 1D/2D models for rivers, canals, and floodplains, and to perform flood routing and sediment transport studies.

You will review hydrology inputs, prepare technical reports and design criteria, and provide guidance to multidisciplinary teams while coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with international standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in hydraulic/water resources/civil engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• 15–20 years of relevant professional experience in hydraulic modeling and water resources projects.
• Proven experience in irrigation, river engineering, dam, hydropower, flood management, or water infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, flood risk assessment, and water resources planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and calibration of 1D and 2D hydraulic models for rivers, canals, reservoirs, spillways, and floodplains.
• Carry out flood routing, inundation mapping, sediment transport, and river morphology studies.
• Conduct hydraulic analyses for irrigation systems and flood protection works.
• Review hydrological inputs and integrate modeling outputs.
• Prepare technical reports, design criteria, and hydraulic documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support feasibility studies, detailed designs, and construction-phase services.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies on hydraulic matters.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and project requirements.
