Qualifications

• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Experience building scalable backend architectures and REST APIs.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge including schema design, migrations, query optimization.
• Experience with authentication, RBAC, JWT, rate limiting, validation, and audit logging.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs with retries, idempotency, and failure handling.
• Strong debugging, observability, and production troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain stateful workflow and case-management systems.
• Design scalable backend services and API layers.
• Develop secure credential vaulting and configuration systems.
• Integrate third-party platforms including payments, voice, and document systems.
• Build billing, reconciliation, and commission workflows.
• Implement webhook/event routing systems and workflow automation.
• Contribute to frontend features where needed using modern full stack technologies.
• Ensure SOC 2-focused audit logging, compliance, and operational reliability.
