Job summary

HR POD Careers is seeking a senior front-end engineer to design and implement scalable, maintainable UI features for the flagship Console product. You will own front-end architecture, collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams, and drive technical decisions.

The role emphasizes autonomy, RFCs and design docs, and a strong focus on code quality, performance, and delivering delightful user experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React in front-end development.
• Designing scalable, maintainable front-end solutions and strong problem solving.
• Ability to work on ambiguous problems and independently decide solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; articulating technical concepts clearly.
• Experience writing or contributing to RFCs, design documents, or technical docs.
• Ability to present technical information clearly to varied audiences.
• Initiative to identify issues and opportunities without detailed direction.
• Understanding business context of technical and product challenges and prioritization.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies, tools, and approaches.
• Proven track record delivering positive outcomes for engineering teams and users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to implement enhancements and features for the flagship Console product.
• Take ownership of strategic technical and architectural decisions for front-end development.
• Identify, evaluate, and propose improvements to drive product growth and productivity.
• Analyze ambiguous problems, break them down, and develop high-quality maintainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address front-end development needs.
• Build front-end experiences for product demos, open-source projects, and marketing materials.
• Contribute to RFCs, design documents, and other technical communications.
• Help establish engineering practices and standards that support scalability and long-term product development.
• Take initiative in identifying technical and product challenges and prioritize solutions.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture as the company grows.
• Ensure front-end solutions deliver high-quality experiences for customers and users.
