InTalent Asia is seeking a highly experienced Technical Expert – Fabric to lead fabric development, quality, and technical excellence across knitted fabric operations in Lahore, Pakistan.
The role covers yarn selection, knitting, dyeing and finishing, ensuring fabrics meet the standards of leading global brands. Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential to drive innovation and capability building across manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in textile discipline required.
- Master's or specialized training in knitting or dyeing is an added advantage.
- Extensive senior-level technical experience in fabric manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead fabric development from yarn selection to finished fabric production.
- Optimize fabric specifications to meet performance and cost needs.
- Evaluate yarn performance for various constructions and end uses.
- Develop innovative fabric solutions aligned with market requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across knitted fabric production (Fleece, Terry, Jersey, Pique, Interlock, Spacer Fabrics).
- Oversee dyeing and finishing to meet quality standards and reduce rework.
- Ensure fabric performance meets buyer specs and testing standards.
- Establish technical standards and mentor technical teams.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams to resolve challenges.
