Job summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead employee relations. You will act as the primary contact for grievances, advise on HR policies, and support conflict resolution while ensuring confidentiality and due process.

The role demands a strong grasp of labor laws, with 6+ years of relevant experience for a Bachelor’s, or 4+ years with a Master’s. Certifications in HR or Law are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Law, Psychology, or related field.
• Certification in HR, Labor Law, or Psychology is advantageous.
• 6+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters.
• Handle employee grievances promptly with fairness, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Support workplace conflict resolution through counselling and mediation.
• Maintain records of employee relations cases, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Investigate misconduct and policy violations in coordination with stakeholders.
• Prepare investigation reports and recommend disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate internal inquiries and anti-workplace harassment committees.
• Ensure due process and documentation during proceedings.
• Refer embezzlement cases to Internal Audit and patient-related complaints to Quality & Monitoring.
• Monitor corrective actions and ensure compliance with outcomes.
• Stay updated on labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct degree verification and reference checks via third-party vendors.
• Promote inclusion, accountability, and respect within HR.
• Prepare periodic reports on cases and trends.
