Job summary

Frontline Data Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and optimize our cloud infrastructure across Azure, application hosting, and platform reliability. You will lead deployment, monitoring, and performance improvements for our SaaS platform.

You will design CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, manage IIS-hosted apps and MSSQL databases, and work with engineering to raise operational maturity and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps/SRE/infrastructure experience, with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience including compute, networking, load balancing, and production storage.
• Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines across environments (Azure DevOps).
• Experience operating IIS-hosted applications, deployments, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including DACPAC deployments, performance, and backup/recovery.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to diagnose stack-wide issues.
• Hands-on IaC with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with Azure AD, SSO, cloud security best practices, high availability and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment, monitoring, and recovery across applications, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines enabling frequent, reliable releases across services and environments.
• Manage and optimize Azure-based environments focusing on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support IIS-hosted applications and MSSQL databases ensuring high availability and good runtime performance.
• Build and maintain observability and alerting systems for rapid issue diagnosis.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
• Contribute to platform security practices and disaster recovery planning.
