Job summary

People Perfect is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Azure Specialist) to design, implement, and continuously improve secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. This leadership-oriented role focuses on embedding security across the entire DevOps lifecycle while ensuring high availability and compliance.

Responsibilities include managing Azure cloud architectures, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Candidates should have significant experience in DevOps and Azure, with relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of overall experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• 4–5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience working in enterprise DevSecOps environments.
• Strong exposure to regulated and security-sensitive systems.

• Design, deploy, and manage secure Microsoft Azure cloud architectures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Azure Specialist) to design, implement, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure. This role is hands‑on and leadership‑oriented, focused on embedding security across the entire DevOps lifecycle while ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence in enterprise and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud architectures.

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Manage Azure networking, IAM, and access controls following Zero Trust and least‑privilege principles.

• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high availability.

DevSecOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Embed shift‑left security practices including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container security.

• Secure and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Implement secure secrets management using Azure Key Vault or similar tools.

Governance, Compliance & Monitoring

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and PDPL standards.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security architecture reviews.

• Improve release cycles and automate incident response and remediation processes.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of overall experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

• 4–5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Proven experience working in enterprise DevSecOps environments.

• Strong exposure to regulated and security‑sensitive systems.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Security Engineer

• Kubernetes Certifications: CKA / CKAD / CKS

• Security Certifications: CISSP / CCSP / Security+
