Role Overview

HireOn is partnering with a leading international organization to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy automation, and are passionate about building reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
• Manage and optimize containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and deployment strategies
• Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and performance
• Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and workflows

Core Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, VMs, Networking, Storage, etc.)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and best practices
• Experience working in agile environments

Good to Have

• Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104, etc.)
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP exposure)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
