Job summary

Frontline Data Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end platform operations for a modern SaaS stack. You will build, operate, and scale cloud infrastructure on Azure, manage deployments, and optimize performance and cost.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers on reliability, security, and DR practices while maintaining IIS-hosted apps and MSSQL databases, ensuring high availability and fast deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience (compute, networking, storage).
• Experience designing/maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Experience operating IIS-hosted apps and MSSQL databases.
• Knowledge of monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates.
• Security & resilience practices incl. AD/SSO, high availability, and DR planning.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and scale the infrastructure behind our SaaS platform, owning deployment, monitoring, and recovery across applications, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable frequent, reliable releases across multiple services and environments.
• Manage and optimize Azure-based environments including compute, networking, and storage with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support and improve IIS-hosted applications and MSSQL databases, ensuring smooth deployments and high runtime performance.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues.
• Work with engineering to improve deployment processes, reliability, and overall platform maturity.
• Contribute to platform security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
