Job summary

Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Ltd. seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead Governance, Assurance & Quality Control within Compliance.

The role focuses on establishing a robust governance framework, conducting assurance reviews, and strengthening the control environment across AML/CFT, onboarding, and regulatory reporting. The candidate will drive monitoring, manage cross-functional collaboration with Internal Audit, Risk, Legal, and Operations, and promote accountability and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of banking/financial services experience with exposure to Governance, Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, AML/CFT, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Regulatory Affairs.
• 3-5 years in a managerial/leadership role within Compliance, Risk, Audit, Governance, or Assurance functions.
• Experience in Digital Banking and Islamic Banking environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Compliance Governance Framework across the Bank.
• Lead compliance assurance reviews to assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.
• Design and execute risk-based compliance testing and assurance programs.
• Conduct thematic reviews, compliance monitoring and control assessments.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards across Compliance activities.
• Review AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, onboarding, regulatory reporting and conduct controls.
