Job summary

NexaQuanta seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join a fintech-focused engagement serving financial services clients in the UK and EU. You will translate adviser, paraplanner, and compliance needs into precise requirements for engineering teams, with high ownership across the delivery lifecycle.

The role involves leading discovery, documenting user stories and acceptance criteria, and aligning backlogs with Product and Engineering while ensuring FCA-aligned practices and robust audit trails.

Qualifications

• Experience translating regulatory and financial services requirements into clear specifications.
• Knowledge of FCA-regulated environments and MiFID II/Consumer Duty obligations.
• Ability to document API contracts and data flows for system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with stakeholders and end users to document workflows and regulatory drivers.
• Elicit and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Translate wealth-management concepts into clear engineering specs.
• Map adviser-firm processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Run workshops, demos, and UAT with UK stakeholders; capture decisions.
