Smart Working is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a backend/DevOps-leaning focus to design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC. You will manage EC2 and core components, support CI/CD for infra changes, and implement security controls to meet ISO27001 or equivalent standards.

The role is remote-first, long-term, with global teams and flexible collaboration across time zones, emphasizing reliability and security in cloud delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS experience.
• 3+ years of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience, with CI/CD pipeline experience as an inherent part of this skill.
• 2+ years of experience managing EC2 and core infrastructure.
• 1+ years of security compliance experience with ISO27001 or a similar standard.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage EC2 and core infrastructure components.
