Job summary

Cloudelligent is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and deploy complex AWS cloud environments for clients, championing IaC and automation. You will design and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements include a BS in a software field, 5+ years in DevOps, and strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering, CS or related.
5+ years of professional DevOps experience.
4+ years using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, etc.).
Experience with IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation) and Kubernetes/EKS or ECS.
Experience with configuration management (Puppet, Ansible) and containers (Docker).

Responsibilities

Architect, build and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure that is scalable and self-healing.
Promote infrastructure as code and automation across projects.
Design, build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and deployments.
Gather customer requirements and inform stakeholders of new features.
Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and team members.
Ensure security and compliance practices are implemented in operations.
