Job summary

Eon Health is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable operations and streamlined deployment processes.

The ideal candidate will automate with CloudFormation and Terraform, manage Docker containers, and stay updated on AWS services and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT.
• 2+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Containerization: building Docker images and running containers.
• Python AWS SDK (boto3) usage for AWS service APIs.
• Proficiency with core AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL, networking and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure for performance, availability and security.
• Collaborate with developers and operations to apply best practices for AWS usage.
• Automate deployments and configuration management using CloudFormation and Terraform.
